There isn't much cuter than a chubby little pony! When we go to and from our home, my daughter and I always pass by this small pond. Usually there is a group of miniature ponies gathered about. There is a whole mix of the cute little darlings from black and white pintos to gray and chestnuts. My daughter loves seeing them all the time and makes a point to always look for them when we pass by. 

One morning as we were on our way home from church we saw them drinking water from their pond. A pair of them caught my attention and I loved how their reflection showed in the water while they were drinking and I thought to myself "Now that would make a pretty little painting!" 

This morning I sat down and finally painted that painting from my head.

"A Passing Memory" is the result of that painting session. My daughter was thrilled to have me paint her favorite ponies!
