The Painting Pony Holiday Order Deadlines

Before you place your order, be sure to check out order deadlines for your products from The Painting Pony. The majority of our product offering is custom-made, just for you. Because of this, there is production-times that need to be taken into consideration in addition to the shipping times.

December 10th
This date is considered the cut-off for holiday delivery. Any items ordered after this date, may not make it in time. Some items may still have a chance after this date (depending on how awesome our makers are being at getting all those holiday orders out as quickly as possible) so if you feel like gambling, and you're OK if your item arrives a little late for the date, please feel free to still place your order because they might just still make it. Items that MIGHT still make it after December 10th include: standard coffee mugs, travel tumblers, phone cases, slate signs, door mats & spiral notebooks (not the journals). All other items can have longer production times and we really can't say how long they might take as they usually require printing, cutting, and sewing as they are made from fabric to your order specifications. 

Also, please take into consideration that during this time of PEAK-shipping, packages may get delayed by the post office for various reasons such as ice storms and high-demand. This is a situation that is beyond our control. Our order deadline recommendations are for what happens normally with the post office and shipping and we are unable to make any guarantees on orders due to the fluctuations that occur with shipping times, even with expedited shipping.

December 12th
It is no longer recommended to order products requiring holiday delivery after this date with standard shipping. The Free shipping offer on the website does NOT include expedited shipping so you will need to contact The Painting Pony if you would like expedited shipping.

December 15th
Cotton Ponies, Essential Oil Soap, & Ribbon. These non-custom Products are carried in-stock and may still be ordered with expedited shipping. Additional shipping charges may be required than what the website will say, so please contact us before placing your order via facebook or by our contact page if you would like expedited shipping. Someone will reply to you as quickly as possible to help you expedite your order. We have a VERY small staff (just myself and sometimes my husband will lend a hand) and this is a VERY busy time, but we make every effort to make sure every order is taken care of to the best of our abilities. Please be patient if we do not reply instantly as we really are trying to respond to everyone as quickly as we possibly can. Again, the Free shipping offer on the website does NOT include expedited shipping so you will need to contact The Painting Pony if you would like expedited shipping.

December 24th
Gift Certificates are always available for the last-minute shoppers!

December 20th - January 5th
The Painting Pony will be taking a much-needed break to take time for family and recover from the very busy holiday season. Orders placed during this time may be delayed, so please take this into consideration when placing your order. We will not be available to answer emails, or messages on facebook during this time as our small staff (mainly ME - I am the only staff) will be spending time with family. Please feel free to place orders, but be aware that they might not be sent off for processing until after January 5th. I might send off a few orders if I have the time, but we appreciate your understanding that this break is needed and your order will still go out, it just might be slightly slower than normal. Most of our makers are also on a break during this time as well so there is not much we'd be able to do during this time otherwise.
